AZUR VT Polyester Resin

AZUR VT is a pre-accelerated and styrene-free standard polyester resin is hardened with MEKP hardeners. The color indicator contained in the resin simplifies the processing process. The basic color changes after a MEKP Hardener has been added within a few minutes.

AZUR VT is used in combination with glass fiber mat and fabric for the creation of weathered and water-logged components. Very suitable as a laminating resin for stressed coatings or as a potting resin (with fillers). For wood, metal and stone substrates, YC-G4 is applied as an adhesion agent. Contains: 1 kg.

The consumption of AZUR VT is calculated as follows: 3-parts glass matte or 1-part glass fabric weight per m² (e.g., 900 g of resin for 1 m² = 300 g / m² of mat). Components or coatings made of AZUR VT must be covered with YC- NAUTIC TOPCOAT to obtain a non-tack surface.
