Was bought by me instead of a life preserver because it is better to stow. Buoyancy 100N

Since we do not have a classic pushpit on our boat, we are thrilled with the compact packing dimensions. However, we have not yet tried the "Rescue sling" .... ;-)))) Fortunately!

Shame on you Plastimo
The black plastic spindle that holds the coiled line cracked and broke in the container when it was hit by flying debris in a heavy storm mid Atlantic. The coiled line became tangled, making the unit impossible to use. I wrote to Plastimo asking if they could replace the plastic spindle and explained that ecologically and financially it was crazy to have to replace the whole system because one critical part failed. They responded sarcastically that because it was a safety part had I not considered replacing the whole unit? They missed the whole point entirely. So heres a heads-up - if the fragile spindle breaks you will have to throw the whole system away - wasteful, expensive and ecologically absurd.
