Great Service from SVB

The usual great service from SVB however, their choice of DHL as the shipper was not a good one. DHL in Spain is quite possibly the worst delivery service in Europe. Having waited in all day, I received at email at 1833 to say that DHL had tried to deliver, but I was not present. This is a total fabrication. A lie. A falsehood. DHL did not make any attempt to deliver the item. At considerable inconvenience to myself, I had to collect it at a newsagents more than a kilometre away. In the time I have lived in Spain, DHL have proved themselves to be dishonest on a number of occasions and I will do everything I can to avoid buying from companies who use DHL.
So, thanks SVB for good service as always, but your choice of DHL as a shipping partner is flawed.

the shipment contained two packages...the pole and the accessories. UPS attempted delivery last week, and although my wife was home, we only found a card in the evening. I also indicated in the UPS app that I wanted to pick it up at the pickup point today. Unfortunately, only the small package was there, and the pole is supposedly going to be delivered tomorrow or the day after. If that doesn't happen, I will definitely contact you. In this case, I can only give a 50% rating, which is a real shame...but I will definitely get in touch if the pole doesn't arrive!
