Our workshop is equipped with a 60-tonne testing bench for Germanischer Lloyd certification and a 300-tonne press capable of swaging steel wire ropes up to 24 mm in diameter.

Our services – Detailed overview

In our in-house workshop, we manufacture custom wire ropes for shrouds, stays, guard wires, and many other applications exactly to your specifications. Our trained specialists use only certified materials from renowned manufacturers. The process begins with selecting and cutting the wire material according to your requirements.

Under high pressure, the fitting is swaged onto the wire and permanently bonded to the wire rope. After swaging, the fittings are reassembled as required. All work is thoroughly inspected for quality and dimensional accuracy to meet the high safety standards required for these products. The quality of the finished product is ensured through the exclusive use of premium-grade materials.

Our in-house production facilities and continuous stock availability provide the flexibility required in watersports, even with short lead times. Once production is complete, SVB can of course arrange delivery directly to your chosen marina or harbour.
