Are you looking for a quick finish, or quick drying grain filling coat prior to applying a clear gloss varnish? Then quick-drying Rapidclear and Rapidcoat are just the right products. They harden to a silky gloss finish and can be painted over with several coats of Epifanes Clear Boat Varnish for greater UV protection.

Their High-Gloss Boat Varnish is a clear, classic one-part wood oil/phenol/alkyd resin-based paint with excellent weather resistance and great flow properties. It has outstanding flexibility to absorb the movement of solid wood and contains a UV filter that protects against discolouration. This paint keeps its shine even in more tropical climates, and its high elasticity protects against cracking on wood that is subjected to stresses and strains.

When preparing surfaces for paint, EPIFANES offers 1-component and 2-component primers for the above-water area, such as Multi Marine Primer, which fills cracks and scratches in the substrate and makes an excellent adhesive base for subsequent coats of paint. You will need high-quality paint brushes and foam sponges, as well as paint rollers in order to do a good job. These will allow the paint to be applied evenly and without bubbles, which will create the best results. Using various thinners, you can adjust the viscosity of your paint for optimum usage.
