With the Deckvest 5D, an automatic life jacket specifically designed to meet the needs of offshore sailors, the company based in Cowes, UK, has established award-winning innovations with regard to comfort and visibility in an emergency: the integrated pylon light (LED flashing light) sticks out like an antenna above the person in distress and improves visibility enormously. In addition, the optional Lume-On-LED lifejacket light uses the inflated float as a light diffuser with the effect that the entire swim bladder is illuminated.
