For our 5-year-old grandson we had (as usual) bought a solid vest. But that was so bulky and warm in good weather that he would not carry them permanently on board (quite understandable). With the automatic vest this is not an issue anymore, which does not bother even inside the boat. \ R \ nAnd with the suitability of 20 - 45 (!) Kg, the price difference to a solid vest nevertheless relativizes considerably! \ R \ nAnd if that thing had to trigger because the junior fell into the water, then the price is probably the least important.
