Top tool for removing underwater paint. With the part and an angle grinder, the old underwater paint can be easily removed without attacking the gel cord.

With these cleaning discs, no additional pressure is needed to operate effectively. Discs with M14 intake for use on angle grinders. Available in grain sizes 50, 80 and 120. Disc diameter: 115 mm. Excellent result, but very expensive.
Used to smooth an old teak deck. To be mounted on a polisher (2000-3000 tm), not on a grinder. Requires some handling. Very smooth and yet very efficient operation. But does not last long. Pity. It is very expensive.

Have the 50er grit on steel tried, you can see the success on one-component paint. The color is slightly off and creates a smooth surface. For GRP, the disc is not recommended, too much material removal.

Excellent discs, I was removing vinyl, glue and paint from cabin in a boat and this disc was just aggresive enough to do the job without damaging the glass fibre too much. They are a bit expensive but as they fit an angle grinder I didn't need to buy a rotary sander.
