Product details
AIS antenna splitter, which makes the on-board FM antenna fully operation for VHF radios and AIS transponders. Thanks to its special electronics components, power losses are minimized so that both the radio system and the AIS transponder can operate with full signal strength. The integrated self-test function continuously monitors the device's operation and, in the event of faults or antenna problems, emits an optical alarm via an integrated LED. The so-called fail-safe circuitry ensures that VHF radio always takes precedence over AIS data transfer and ensures uninterrupted radio traffic. Optionally, an FM radio can also be connected.
