Teak, exotic wood: The tropical hardwood teak, is native to the monsoon forests of South and Southeast Asia, withstands all weather conditions and survives for generations without the need for great care. This high-quality organic material is resistant to: oil, resin, rubber and lime, extreme temperature fluctuations, harsh weather conditions, fungus and insect infestation. Teak is water repellent and prevents the wood from swelling and shrinking. It also prevents the corrosion of many metal fittings and connections. We only offer high quality products, where the wood is obtained exclusively from controlled reforestation plantations, as not to compromise any natural resources.
