The problem is that the electromagnetic clutch with a power of more than 20 W in the hermetically sealed plastic housing is not sufficiently cooled. In the last 10 years, three windings have been blown to the wind. The clutch is only complete and very expensive. After the last outage, therefore, I had the winding rewrapped and shed by an electric machine manufacturer in insulation class F. As the engine of my Bavaria 37C is installed splash-proof in the cockpit table base, I have drilled out the motor housing and provided it with forced ventilation. Now the clutch will warm to a maximum of 65 in continuous operation, it would endure 155. I hope now for steadfastness!
