Replacement of plain bearing The exchange from the plain bearing to the roller bearing was worth it. When the rudder pressure was increased, a squeaking noise could always be heard from the slide bearing and a lot of force was needed to turn the steering wheel. With the roller bearing, everything runs very smoothly and without noise.
