I installed USB sockets at the back of my center console, on the other hand in the sky above my mirror. The power supply I got from the 12V cigarette connections (fuses). \ R \ n \ r \ n \ n \ nThe installation of the USB sockets themselves was no problem. Observe installation dimensions. Carefully drill the holes. Disconnect the power supply from the leads of the cigarette connections. Here is the quality: stable screw connection of the housing, stable power connections. Now, for example, I can supply my DashCam from the USB can in the sky, Navi through the USB can from the front console. Here I have also the advantage that I have no disturbing cables in my field of view. Conclusion: The price / performance ratio is good with this quality, the USB connections hold, the power supply is stable.

Dual USB charging socket for convenient charging! Ideal to charge the battery of your smartphone or iPad. The devices are made of materials that ensure a good contact ability and a low voltage drop. A protective cap prevents the ingress of dust and water. Output voltage: 5 V / 2.1 amps. Two USB 2.0 connections.
Installation-Ø is 29 mm.

Note:
Don't forget the manufacturer supplied 2A-fuse in the POS-12V wire to the USB plug. The fuse should be installed as close as possible to the 12V source.
A flat fuse holder (#47018) is optimally suitable for this purpose. The suitable 2A-fuse is available under (#15847).
