This bistable switching relay can be installed close to the consumer and only a thin control cable is required to connect the remote control switch. These relays are designed for high loads, i.e.. a continuous load of 500 A, a peak load of 700 A (max 5 min.) and a starting load of 2500 A (max 10 s) are no problem.

The relay draws power only during the switching operation (100 mA ). In position OFF or ON, the relay consumes no power.
The ON-OFF-ON remote control switch is included. A safety mechanism integrated in the remote control housing prevents unintentional switching on or off and at the same time displays the current operating status (ON or OFF key). The remote can be lit up by 2 integrated red LEDs (control panel lighting). If wired according to the manufacturer's specifications, the LED current consumption is 30 to 40 mA continuously.

Our tip: only put remote pin-2 (over a 2 A fuse) to battery PLUS. Remote pin-8 (LED-PLUS) connect (over a 2 A fuse) to relay-contact B (battery PLUS). The LED-function control shows if your on-board power is turned on.
