This turnbuckle is used to precisely adjust the tension in the standing rigging and enables the safe adjustment of shrouds and stays on sailing and motor boats. It is designed for use in the rigging and ensures reliable and finely adjustable tension control.
Manufactured from highly polished, rust- and acid-resistant stainless steel (AISI 316) with a bronze spindle, the shroud tensioner offers excellent corrosion resistance and low friction in the thread. This combination of materials prevents cold welding and ensures smooth, long-lasting adjustability even under high loads. The fork-to-fork design enables a secure connection between the wire rope and the fitting, whilst the right-hand thread allows for precise tension adjustment. The open sleeve facilitates inspection and maintenance of the threaded area.
Features:
The shroud tensioner is a robust and precise solution for the safe adjustment and control of rig tension on sailing boats.
