DIGITAL YACHT USB-NMEA Serial Adapter Cable

Adapter cable for connecting conventional NMEA0183 devices to a computer.

With this USB to NMEA0183 adapter cable, NMEA0183 data can be transferred to your computer in a simple way. This data can be displayed with a compatible navigation software (not included). The adapter also allows NMEA0183 to send data from your computer to a NMEA0183 capable device (bidirectional communication).

The adapter can be configured with the following baud rates: 4800, 9600, 38400, 115200 baud. Thus, NMEA0183 AIS data, which is generally sent at 38400 baud, can also be interpreted by the adapter. For example, if you want to transfer NMEA0183 GPS data to your computer using the adapter, you should select 4800 baud.

In addition, the adapter has built-in LEDs, which flash as soon as NMEA0183 data has been received or sent.
