Still fits after many years
I just completely swapped out the previous model because of the decreasing grip. It is very pleasing that the hole spacing is still exactly the same and the exchange was pleasantly easy. The only small "disadvantage" is the massively increased adhesion, which I feel is too strong with 10 mm cordage. The mainsail now wants to be actively pulled down ... will certainly change, but is (still) somewhat disadvantageous in terms of handling. Otherwise, I am very satisfied.

Used for the spinnaker halyard and the reefing of a Sun Fast 20. It is not the equivalent of a spinlock because it must be unlocked to be able to pull on the line. Compared to my old blocker, there is no re-tensioning to do to unblock it. Attention 8 mm maximum for the end diameter, otherwise it does not pass.

As I just bought two of these halyard stoppers and I'm trying them out (before installing them into boat), I find it impossible to feed through 10mm lines. The rope just gets stuck inside the clutch. I also tried with 8mm lines (the boat does not have any of these), and even they do not go through the clutch. What is the issue with these units???

I just got info from the manufacturer!! And it helped to solve the issue! "Open the stopper completely – pres handle HARD down" There is an extra feature, which opens the jaws more and lines go easily through! Problem solved. (the included instruction should mention this)
