excellent fallstoper. The case can be easily tightened with the lever halfway open, keeping it in place even during a lot of pulling without slipping backwards. Only the threading of a 10mm case is connected with practice.

As I just bought two of these halyard stoppers and I'm trying them out (before installing them into boat), I find it impossible to feed through 10mm lines. The rope just gets stuck inside the clutch. I also tried with 8mm lines (the boat does not have any of these), and even they do not go through the clutch. What is the issue with these units???

I just got info from the manufacturer!! And it helped to solve the issue! "Open the stopper completely – pres handle HARD down" There is an extra feature, which opens the jaws more and lines go easily through! Problem solved. (the included instruction should mention this)
