The 2 gear ratios mean you can pull in the sheet quickly when maneuvering or apply a lot of force for fine trimming. I think it's great and the quality is good too.

Product details

Ready to use two gear main sheet system with contineous spliced Gleistein high performance sheet and ball-bearing high performance blocks.

Features:

4:1 and 8:1 purchase for ships up to 45 feet and main sail area up to 45 m²
12 mm Gleistein sheet, spliced endless
Rope TASMANIA 12mm, colour: green, rope length: 50 m.

Cleaning and Maintenance of Blocks:

Rinse blocks regularly and thoroughly with warm fresh water to remove salt and dirt (carefully assist with a soft brush if necessary).
For heavier soiling: Soak the block in warm fresh water with a little dish soap and move the rollers (do not use harsh cleaners).
Avoid pressure washers, as water and dirt can be forced into the bearing.
Allow to dry thoroughly afterwards to prevent corrosion.
Lubricate only when necessary and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Note: Many modern bearings are maintenance-free or self-lubricating – improper lubrication can impair their function.
Disassemble only if explicitly instructed by the manufacturer, as not all blocks are designed for maintenance or disassembly.

Order with obstacles

Unfortunately I had to order the product 3 times.
The first time, one of the rollers could hardly be turned and was rubbing on the fairing.
Unfortunately, the second time the leash was no longer than 12m
The third time everything was as it should be.

Why 5 stars anyway?
I've sailed with the system before and the two-speed function is just great and I don't want to be without it anymore.
Mistakes happen and the return and new order went smoothly and with understanding.
Definitely a recommendation, but check your system when you get it.

EASYMATIC Main Sheet System L / 12 mm

A very good grading system, especially the two translations and the endless sheet prove to be extremely practical. Somewhat getting used to is the total length of the sheet, which must first be accommodated in the cockpit. If this is settled, it is a worthwhile purchase, which is also useful at the mast.
