Order with obstacles Unfortunately I had to order the product 3 times. The first time, one of the rollers could hardly be turned and was rubbing on the fairing. I've sailed with the system before and the two-speed function is just great and I don't want to be without it anymore. Mistakes happen and the return and new order went smoothly and with understanding. Definitely a recommendation, but check your system when you get it.

Features:

Cleaning and Maintenance of Blocks:

  • Rinse blocks regularly and thoroughly with warm fresh water to remove salt and dirt (carefully assist with a soft brush if necessary).
  • For heavier soiling: Soak the block in warm fresh water with a little dish soap and move the rollers (do not use harsh cleaners).
  • Avoid pressure washers, as water and dirt can be forced into the bearing.
  • Allow to dry thoroughly afterwards to prevent corrosion.
  • Lubricate only when necessary and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
