Hello svb, unfortunately var the anchor roll not in stock, therefore somewhat longer delivery time. Product met the expectations and is good for the price performance ratio, especially with Swedish scale. I have not tried the Bugroll yet and I am back again when I change my view. Heavy duty bow roller with rocker. The ELBA bow roller is particularly suitable for ploughshare anchors such as M-anchor (Bruce anchor) or a CQR anchor. The integrated rocker makes it easier to drop and pick up the anchor. The bow rollers are made from AISI 304 stainless steel.

Massive, but with room for improvement
It makes a solid first impression. However:

-The rocker arm was mounted with applied laser-etched foil. This means disassembly, removal of the foil, and reassembly.

-The screws holding the rocker arm shaft are mounted without any locking mechanism and are very short. Longer screws with locking washers would be preferable.

-Plastic washers between the rocker arm and the bow roller would be desirable to minimize noise on board.

Works great, looks nice, and is sturdy, but the knob at the front that holds the plastic roller is rusting away. It's definitely not marine-grade stainless steel. Why would they install something like that on the bowsprit?

Im going to buy a 20 kg Vulcan anchor Does the 20 kg Vulcan fit in the ELBA - Bow Roller with Rocker ?? Shall I buy the Elba for 20 kg or will the Elba 30 kg fit the Vulcan anchor best ??

Dear Sir , as the weight of the anchor is just on the border we do recommend to choose the bigger bowfitting . If the combination of Vulcan and Elba and of course the boat can work well we can not decide for you . In doubt you have to return the parts for exchange or credit .
