Solid construction, I use the holder to attach a pipe, which works flawlessly. However, if you want to fix a wooden stick with it, the clamping length up to the knurled screw is too short, because the head of the fixing screw (M6 INBUS) is quite high. A remedy would be to use a flat head mounting screw or to drill a 10mm hole from below into the floor.
