Product details

The FOX-220 charge regulator is a solar charge regulator for module currents up to 20 A, suitable for AGM, gel and lead-acid batteries. Consumers can be connected to a power consumption of 20 amps. The adaptive deep discharge protection monitors and protects the battery against harmful total discharge. The controller automatically detects the system voltage (12/24V).
The FOX-MD1 multi display can be connected to the charge regulator by plugging in one cable. So that the current voltages and currents are displayed. By using the programming function of the FOX-MD1, various parameters can be changed and saved.

The above charge controller charges lead and gel batteries according to the controller setting up to 14.4 volts MAXIMUM; other batteries of the newer generation require a different charging characteristic and final charging voltage; there are special charge controllers !!! A direct connection of the rechargeable battery to the solar cell is not recommended, since ..No regulation ... takes place. This damages the battery and makes it prematurely defective. So always clamp the correct charge controller in between. MFG SV yacht engines

Very compact housing, everything can be read easily on the display, terminals sufficiently large, device has been in operation on 2 x 130 WP solar systems since purchase, the device regulates up to 14.6 ampere charging current without any problems.
