With "SET" you can jump through 3 menus where the setpoint temperature, display in C or F as well as the level of the battery-protection can be adjusted with the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons. Whether the battery protection functioned I did not try, because in my car is not relevant, because unfortunately only voltage while the engine is running at the car sockets.
