Could not have the box yet a meaningful test. Test at home cools down without speed very fast, set temperature is correct and is maintained, good insulation, temperature remains for a long time at the same level, before the compressor switches on again, everything at ca.17C outside temperature. Ac Falls cases good box for this price. Fitting kit would be desirable

Fr40 cooler received on December 24 super !!!! just for christmas Except that the cooler has never started, on the 220, on the 12 v. there is just the interior light working. check the fuse which was in good condition ... i wanted to call svb marine today december 26th but public holiday in germany. it does not matter I would call tomorrow hoping that the after-sales service is fast and reliable

Well finished product and quite light. Little noisy. Inner light. Bottles 1.5 l stand up. Tested with 2 bottles of 1.5 liters in my living room (it's December and the sailing season is over). Power supply with 220 V cord. Fast descends near zero degrees. Then it's harder and slower. It is not possible to go below -8C (-10C announced). He checked the integrated thermometer with another electronic thermometer whose probe was at the bottom of the box. It took a night for the bottles to freeze. So I think it should if possible put food already cooled after washing it for a few hours. Interesting price but it is rather a refrigerator than a freezer. We will see it for use next spring.

What happens if both powerscources, 12 v and 220 v are connected at the same time ???

Propadly nothing, because the higher voltage is transferred also to 12-24V and it would be the same as connect several batteries to paraller.
