Product details

The GP39 is the successor to the well-known GP32. The GP39 has a 4.2 "colour display with a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels, which ensures excellent readability in all weather conditions. Easily switch between display modes: plotter, highway, control, NavData, satellite and the 1 + 2 user-defined display, which can be individually programmed.

Save up to 3000 tracking points, 10000 markers, commentable waypoints, and 100 routes with up to 30 waypoints per route. The integrated man-over-board feature also saves the position, time, distance and course of the person overboard. Waypoints and routes can be uploaded or saved via USB. The following alarms can be activated: arrival, anchor monitoring, XTE (speed control), speed, WAAS, trip and odometer (distance measurement).

The GP39 displays its own route and position on a 2D map. This mode presents various data and information with symbols and icons.
Highway
3D view of your own vessel towards its destination (waypoint).
NavData
This mode shows the status of GPS reception, the vessel's position in latitude and longitude, speed over ground, course over ground, date and time.

Control
Course information with a compass scale.
Satellite
Displays GPS signal strength and the satellites' position.

Furuno GP-39 optimally replaces the old MLR FX312
I had the old MLR networked with the ICom M505 radio and the NASA GPS repeater on board. The GP-39 can fully handle all functions without modification. NMEA 0183 simplifies integration. Also worth mentioning is the additional USB interface for waypoints and routes.
