No template available! Unfortunately, despite the description to the contrary in the assembly instructions, there is NO template available for the deck hull cutout. Neither included in the scope of delivery nor downloadable as a PDF file from the manufacturer. Given the price, this should be a given!

Product details

Gebo portlights are made of polished, anodised aluminium for durability and resistance to seawater ,and long-lasting beauty. The window panes are made of shatterproof acrylic. All other parts are constructed from non-corrosive materials.

Thanks to the clamping system, no holes need to be drilled into the hull. The window is suitable for material thicknesses of 4 - 23 mm. These Gebo windows are completely waterproof and also suitable for mounting in the hull area. Friction hinges ensure that the windows can automatically stop at 30, 90 or 140 degrees. Glass colour: grey. Flanging radius: 56 mm.

Unfortunately bad. Already after 2 years heavy blooming between the aluminum edge and the seal outside. The corrosion has eaten away the edge by up to a millimeter and there are just as deep holes behind the seal. These windows are poorly anodized and not made of seawater-resistant aluminum. I'm disappointed. Note SVB: Almost unimaginable! We have had the windows in our delivery program for about 20 years and I think that we have now sold several thousand windows and hatches. The windows are also supplied to large-scale shipyards in even larger numbers. The whole thing almost sounds like electrolytic corrosion. It would be interesting to know which hull construction material and I am sure that the manufacturer would replace the window free of charge if there was an error in the production process.
