The GLOMEX solid stainless steel mounting foot enables the secure installation of a satellite antenna on sloping surfaces.
The lower part of the housing section of the satellite antenna should be horizontal to the water's surface on all sides. After loosening the central fixing screw, the unit can be set at an incline between 0 - 5°. Leading a cable to the antenna is easy with the sufficiently large opening of the base.
The delivery contents include: Two white elastic seals, each with 4x M8 bolts, U- and slotted washers.
Dimensions:
- Diameter: 240 mm (9")
- Height: 80 mm (3")
- Four mounting holes, arranged in a square
- Hole spacing: 150 mm (6")
- Bore diameter: 8.5 mm (3/8")
Installation instructions:
- Find a suitable mounting surface with a sufficiently large contact surface.
- Loosen the central fixing screw.
- Place the mounting base on the surface and align the holes.
- Twist the upper and lower parts against each other, so that the top part of the bracket is aligned horizontally on all sides.
- Line up the mounting holes as well.
- Consider the required hole for cable management.
- Use the supplied gaskets during assembly.
This GLOMEX mount has an arranged squared hole spacing of 150 x 150 mm.
However, it is of limited use for the Intellian i2 satellite antenna. Instead of 150 mm, the Intellian unit only has 144 x 144 mm hole spacing.
For Intellian i3 antennas, an additional adapter plate is required. The mounting size of the i3 is 142 x 233 mm.
Another very important feature is the center of GLOMEX mounting foot. The fixing screws are here and they limit access to the port area of Intellian antennas. In order to achieve a proper connection without having to bend the coax cable, is only possible if the antenna is mounted with 25 mm spacing.
Remember: the coax cable must not be bent, but rather extended straight!
