Product details

DIN 766 A and ISO 4565, short-linked, exactly calibrated, superbly welded, hot-dip galvanised. Material ST.35-2 DIN 17115. Available in a maximum length of 100 m in one piece. Price per metre.

Note on DIN or ISO standard anchor chains
For 6, 8 and 13 mm chains the DIN766 and ISO dimensions are the same. For 10 mm chains, however, the pitch "t" (see drawing above) is different. In accordance with DIN the pitch is 28 mm, in accordance with ISO 30 mm. This difference may seem slight, but can lead to problems especially with precision machined gypsies: The first 5-6 chain links will run through well, but then the chain will jam. Therefore special attention should be paid to the chain and gypsy when buying.

We're going into overtime.
I extended our anchor chain to 50 meters; it appears to be of good quality.

I don't use it on a boat
I use this chain for pulling sports with my American Staffordshire Terrier. The weight for 1 meter was perfect for what I was looking for. The chain drags on the ground when it's attached to my dog's harness, and it hasn't moved in the two months I've been using it.

Anchor chain galvanized
The chain is in perfect condition, very well galvanized, and after a few anchoring maneuvers, it runs smoothly.
You'll need to be at the winch the first few times, as the thick zinc coating can cause it to jam in the chain sprocket.

I need to order chain for my new boat, the supplier says it need to be ISO4565 (sometimes also called ISO P30). The chain link thickness is 10mm, and the inside length is 30mm. Which one of your chains should I select?
