High-temperature resistant protective hose made of glass fabric coated with silicone on both sides with internal vulcanisation. Designed for thermal insulation and protection of heat-conducting pipes in vehicles and other applications. Temperature resistant from -40°C to +250°C, briefly up to approx. 500°C. Prevents heat loss and protects sensitive components from heat exposure. Ideal for use in high thermal stress conditions. Not suitable for exhaust hoses. Length: 1 m.

Good insulation on exhaust pipe

rather unpleasant odor that I hope will disappear over time cover the ends of the sheath to prevent the dispersion of fibers (aluminum adhesive for example)

Workmanship very good. Insulation performance is not good. Outer fabric will be just as warm as the heating pipe itself! Will probably try out the original heat protection tube from Webasto. "Definitely better than nothing"
