ICOM IC-M410BB Black Box Marine Radio

The ICOM IC-M410BB consists of a CommandMicâ„¢ and a Blackbox unit. The CommandMicâ„¢ HM-195 can be used to perform all operating functions, including DSC. The black box can be installed behind a bulkhead, for example, and can be located up to 18.3 m away from the CommandMicâ„¢ (two optional OPC-1541 cables are required for installation at a distance of 18.3 m).

Install up to two CommandMicâ„¢ HM-195 control units on board and use this as a fully-fledged radio and as an intercom device for easy and fast communication on board.

NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 support
The NMEA 2000â„¢ network allows easy plug-and-play data communication, and connects to other navigation devices, such as a Multi-Function Display (MFD). The radio can send GNSS (GPS) position, AIS*, DSC call, and radio channel to other equipment. Furthermore, an NMEA0183 interface with 38,400 baud is available to enable the connection with older navigation systems.

Active Noise Cancelling
The Active Noise Cancelling digitally removes background noise from both transmit and receive audio and provides clear commu- nication in a noisy maritime environment.

Built-in Class D DSC with Life-Saving “Distress” Button
The integrated DSC (Digital Selective Calling) Class D function can be a lifesaver in an emergency situation. With just a press of the “DISTRESS” button, the built-in DSC (Digital Selective Calling) system can digitally transmit distress infor- mation to the Coast Guard and/or other vessels. The DSC watch function continuously monitors the DSC channel (Ch. 70) for added safety and security.

Loud 1-Way RX Hailer
A built-in 13 W amplifier increases the audio output to an external hailer speaker. The 1-way RX hailer function enables you to keep watch of the radio traffic on the deck or tower through the hailer speaker. You can also sound foghorn patterns from the hailer speaker.
