This device has to be programmed with your personal data, such as: MMSI and/or ATIS numbers.
It is possible to program the MMSI and ATIS number yourself. The relevant instructions can be found in the manual.
Alternatively, we can programme the device for you. For this we charge a programming fee.
If you would like us to programme the device, please let us know as you are making your order. Please add the above-mentioned programming accordingly and complete the form in full.
If additional channels (e.g. the Dutch channels) are to be activated, we charge our programming fee. The fee is only charged once per device.
The application for the allocation of the MMSI and ATIS number can be found in our Service/Downloads section.

Colour display with wide viewing angle
The display provides a viewing angle of up to 180° and impresses with high-resolution characters and function icons in colour. Night mode ensures good readability in low light conditions.
Smartphone pairing via WiFi
Control a number of functions with your smartphone thanks to built-in WiFi connectivity. Up to three smart devices can be used as a wireless microphone. Intercom function between your smart device and the radio is also available. To use the function, all you need to do is download the free RS-M500 app (iOS/Android).
Integrated GPS and AIS receiver
The integrated GPS receiver enables the radio to send an emergency call including the current, exact coordinates. In addition, the IC-M510E EVO has a built-in AIS receiver that can be used to monitor the position of nearby AIS vessels. Among other things, the data helps to avoid collisions in crowded harbours. AIS signals can be displayed either directly on the radio or on a compatible multifunction display.
Navigation function
The navigation function guides you to a specified waypoint or AIS targets. You can save up to 100 destinations as waypoints.
Clear audio output
The IC-M510’s internal speaker enhances the received audio and provides excellent sound quality.
Integrated NMEA2000 interface
Exchange data quickly and easily, e.g. GPS, via the NMEA2000 network using the NMEA2000 interface integrated in the Icom IC-M510E EVO (connection via a Micro-C connector - male). GPS data from an external NMEA2000 receiver can be used for the IC-M510E EVO, for example.
