Product details

Quick-drying 2-component epoxy primer B-FREE CONVERSION COAT is used to switch from biocide-containing antifouling to biocide-free anti-fouling. Conversion Coat primer is sprecially designed to seal off existing antifouling and acts as a barrier layer before applying B-Free Tiecoat undercoat. The 2-component primer is completely biocide free and only needs to be applied in one layer to seal existing biocides containing antifouling. Solidifying the existing antifouling ensures that old layers do not peel off. Can be applied with a roller or brush.

Suitable for hulls made of aluminium, GFK, lead, cast iron, woodand steel.

Application:
The surface must be cleaned of growth and contamination. Then wet sand the hull with 80-120 grit. Then add the curing agent to the base and mix. Let the primer rest for 10 to 15 minutes and apply one coat of B-FREE CONVERSION COAT.
