Product details

INTERDECK from INTERNATIONAL is an excellent, non-slip one-component deck coating. Tough polyurethane resins protect the deck against everyday wear and tear. Yield: 11.2 m²/litre. Thinner no.1.

Application instructions:

For coated surfaces:

In good condition: Wash down with a suitable detergent, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 280320 grade (grit) paper.
In poor condition: Remove all previous coatings and prime the surface.

All surfaces: Sand primer with 180-220 grit. Afterwards, remove dust residues from the surface and apply 1-2 coats of Interdeck.

Bare wood: Abrade with 80-180 grit sandpaper. Then with 280 grit paper. Remove sanding dust by brushing, dusting and wiping. Allow to dry completely.

Aluminium: : Degrease with solvent or Super Cleaner. Sand well using 24120 grade (aluminium compatible) paper. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry. Prime with One UP as soon as possible (within 8 hours).

Steel: Degrease with solvent or Super Cleaner .Gritblast to Sa 2½ near white metal surface. If gritblasting is not possible, grind the metal surface with 2436 grit abrasive discs to a uniform, clean, bright well roughened metal surface (5075microns) anchor pattern. Use angle grinder on small areas. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry and then apply primer.

GRP: Degrease with solvent or Super Cleaner. Sand well using 180220 grade paper. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry and apply primer.

Old / weathered gelcoat:Degrease with thinner or Super Cleaner. Thoroughly sand with 180-220 grit sandpaper. Clean well and allow to dry. To prevent blistering, apply 3 coats of a 2-component primer, then overcoat with a 2-component undercoat.

Drying time at 15 °C: 4 hours
Processing time at 15 °C: min. 20 hours
Processing temperature: +5 °C to max. 35 °C
