Note on washing kapok cushions:
Water will not damage the kapok fibres per se, but machine washing in particular does subject the fibres to mechanical stress, which can result in them breaking. Machine washing should therefore be avoided. Stains should be washed out by hand. In contrast to cushions with grain chaff fillings, kapok pillows must NOT be heated. Therefore only wash hand warm.

Seat cushion in two parts

We use this seat cushion alternately with the three-piece one. This one is suitable for tall people (our seats are very deep and smaller people can't lean on them - we have the three-part cushion for that).
You can also use it on the bathing platform (which we use as a seat when sailing). The seat is rather narrow here and it fits very well. Its weight means it lies well and you don't have to constantly worry about it falling overboard when you stand up.
