Tachometer with a measuring range of: 0 to 4000 rpm and an integrated operating hours counter. Ratio is adjustable from: 1.0 - 10.0. For 4 - 10 cylinder engines. With a white dial.

General characteristics of the KUS SEA V-Series
The instrument housings in this series are protected according to IP 67, which means they are dust-proof and waterproof to a depth of one meter. With double-walled glass, which provides excellent protection against fogging. Installation is very easy: Simply insert from the front through the 85 mm drill hole and secure from the rear with a union nut. Electrical connection using multi-connectors. All instruments are back lit. Choose between red and yellow back lighting. Designed for 12 volt operation. Use a series resistor to also operate in 24 volt systems. The black gauge is supplied with a black plastic cover, the white with a white cover. Covers can be easily exchanged. Operating range from approx. -40 C to +80 C.

Good replacement for Volvo Penta 2003

I replaced my old, broken tachometer; it fit perfectly into the previous recess. Adjusting the factor based on the ratio of the V-belt pulley diameters, it worked with four pole pairs (instead of six), which is probably due to the old alternator. My factor is 7.2. I checked the rpm with a strobe light app.

Tachometer with hour counter

Since my x-99 does not have a fuel gauge, but has all the electrical installations for mounting a tachometer, I use the tachometer with hour meter to monitor consumption. The tachometer is plug and play and easy to set up.

Hi SVB, I have an old Yanmar YSB8G engine in my boat that's just been fully renovated - Hence I would like to have a Tachometer and an hour counter in order to be sure about hours it's been running after this renovation - My question is will this Tachometer work on this small 1 cylinder engine? In the description text says "For 4 - 10 cylinder engines." If this Tachometer with hour meter don't work on a 1 cylinder engine, can you then suggest an alternative?
