The KUS NMEA2000 displays and tank sensors come with a variety of configurable parameters in addition to the default settings. These parameters can be configured by means of the KUS programming tool.
The KUS programming tool is integrated into the NMEA2000 network using a NMEA2000 Micro-C cable. The connection requires a free slot in the NMEA2000 network.
KUS NMEA2000 displays:
The KUS programming tool can be used to configure the tank sensor instances (tank numbers) for the respective KUS NMEA2000 display. Furthermore, the engine instances for KUS NMEA2000 cooling water and oil pressure gauges can be configured.
KUS NMEA2000 sensors:
The KUS programming tool can also be used to configure KUS NMEA2000 tank sensors. The following parameters of the tank sensors can be configured:
- The KUS tank sensors are programmed for fuel as a standard. With the KUS programming tool, the sensor can be programmed for fuel, fresh water or grey water.
- The factory setting of the tank instance (tank number) of the sensor is at 0. The sensor can be set at a value between 0 and 15.
- The sensor can be programmed with a tank capacity. The default is 0.
