After we rumpted with two other wood oils, we landed at Tonki. All softwoods (Spruce, Mahagonni) can be protected very well. If there is a Macke, one can repair the very simple. On Teak, however, it looks really different. There, Tonki does not hold well - but no other wood oil, which is probably due to the teak itself (high self-oil in the wood itself).

LE TONKINOIS MARINE N°1 boat varnish is a wood protection varnish, which both protects and beautifies wood at the same time. Suitable for all types of wood, in both indoor and outdoor applications. It can be used on: superstructures, masts, bathing platforms, teak decks, tillers, wooden furniture, flooring, doors and also for degreased metals.

An ideal yacht varnish, certified by the French Navy. Its oily and chemical-free components make this boat varnish durable, extremely abrasion-resistant, highly UV-resistant, salt-water resistant, hardwearing and resistant to household cleaners.

If there was something better I would buy it

... but since there is no better oil varnish on the market, I have been using le Tonkinois for years and am satisfied. Very clear purchase recommendation, whether for the cutter or the wooden furniture first-class surface, super resilient and with a little practice it is possible to achieve first-class results.

I think it is necessary to respect the prescription ... the first layer diluted to 10% remains matte and a little scary ... the second fed the wood and has a better appearance! the two or three others determine the brilliance and the aspect of the final rendering ... in a word satisfied !!!
