MARINCO High-Power Plug and Receptacle / 70 A / 3-pole

This 3-pole, high-power plug and socket set from MARINCO features a universal design and is suitable for use in 12, 24, 36 and 48 V vehicle electrical systems. With compact dimensions and a high load capacity of up to 70 A at 12 & 24 V or 60 A at 36 and 48 V, the set is also resistant to splash water and corrosion. Connection terminals for wire cross-sections up to 16 mm² (AWG 6). Included in delivery: Plug and recessed socket with mounting plate and flexible sealing cap, 6x ferrules for copper conductor Ø up to max. 5.8 mm, 2x raised countersunk head tapping screw 2.4x15 as well as 2.4 mm (3/32") allen key for the screw terminals.

Note
Ordinary 3-wire cable with a common sheath will not fit through the cable entry of this connector.
Instead, only two or three individual single-core cables with a conductor cross-section of between 10 and 16 mm² will fit.
The total diameter of a single-core 16 mm² cable is approx. 7 mm.
At the end of the connector, the 2 or 3 single-core cables are routed side by side through a strain relief.
When using 2 single-core cables, these should not exceed a total diameter of approx. 9 mm, when connecting 3 cables, only 7.1 mm each, as the cables will lie directly next to each other in the 21.5 mm wide strain relief.
The cables are fed into the connector through a thin flexible seal. The seal already has openings for 2 wires. If a third wire is to be connected, the seal must be pierced at the marked point with a pointed tool.
