Have the underlay under the upholstery for a long time and it does a good job there against moisture. We have now also ordered the same underlay for a locker in which all the cushions are stored so that they are better ventilated. Great mat!

Product details

This black underlay effectively prevents moisture build-up under mattresses and cushions. The fabric can easily be cut to size and is placed between the mattress and the bed floor (material thickness: 10 mm, load: max 1 t/m.). The air movement effectively prevents the growth of mildew, mould, and foul odours. Roll width: 205 cm. Supplied cut to length. Price in Euro per 10 cm.

Note
In most cases, mattresses are placed in a frame. Since moisture must be able to rise between the sides of the mattress and the frame, the pad should be cut to size so that it covers the mattress bottom and sides in one piece. The tension in the pad can be relieved by cutting at the corners of the mattress. Air can then circulate freely on the underside and on the four sides of the mattress.
