Mega LED defective
I wanted to replace the bulbs in the position lights with the Mega LED. Unfortunately, the fit of the base is not optimal. The LED lamps are very difficult to insert into the socket. In addition, 6 individual LEDs were defective on 3 of 4 LED bulbs. I didn't try the fourth, but sent all 4 back.

The bulbs work and also consume significantly less power than conventional bulbs. Unfortunately, the LM are not waterproof and also very unstable. Reliable operation is not guaranteed.

Poor quality
I tried to install both in the mast top and in the rear light and it did not fit well!....I have been obliged to force it into place and it broke!!!
I bought one other led lamp, with glass protection, to the mast top, in one local store!....
I managed, after re-soldering the attachment and remove some of the contacts height, and with the help of one needle nose plier (!), to install it on the boat stern light....

Hi! Does this LED create RF-interference when fitted to masthead tricolour next to VHF-antenna? Lalizas BAY15D LED creates so much interference that it makes all but the nearest AIS-transmitters to disappear and I'm searching for a solution.

I have it in my anchor licht right next to my VHF antenna. I have no audible noise anywhere and my AIS receives the same vessels whether it's on or not - ca. 15nm for AIS B and 50+nm for AIS A.

Hi. Unfortunately this LED does the same than Lalizas's: when put on, AIS-target range shortens. With this LED on, only few miles, when off, up to 60 nautical miles.
