The Musto HPX Gore-Tex Ocean jacket was developed for professionals and designed to withstand the toughest and most treacherous conditions at sea. OCEAN is extremely robust with unbeatable waterproof and windproof protection. HPX Ocean offers offshore sailors the best possible combination of protection, toughness and comfort. It does this thanks to a softer backing material in combination with the proven GORE-TEX® Ocean Technology® membrane. Made from the most robust, tear-resistant and abrasion-resistant materials on the market. A 3-layer laminate, consisting of a robust outer fabric, the High Performance Ocean Technology® membrane in the core and GORE™ Micro Grid Backer as an inner layer give you full freedom of movement for highly active sailing. The special GORE-SEAM® Tape Technology guarantees that all seams are 100% waterproof. A DWR finish supports the water repellent effect on the outer fabric. GORE™ Micro Grid Backer Technology improves the oilskin in terms of comfort and performance. The 3-layer system features an inner layer with special surface finish that ensures that frictional resistance is significantly reduced. This makes the oilskin very easy to put on over fleece clothing. The special surface structure increases the absorption surface for water vapour molecules, allowing moisture to be wicked away more quickly. The particularly hard-wearing fabric is also even lighter and more robust than standard carrier fabrics. Material: 80% polyamide, 20% PTFE. Application: Offshore.
