With transducer

I bought this log and didn't drill through the fuselage as described, but rather mounted a holder on the stern (I made this from stainless steel) and mounted the transducer on it. Then I put a cylindrical vessel (0.5 l coke bottle) over the entire transducer with cable and filled it with cable resin. So I made this transducer absolutely waterproof. I tested the log for 2 weeks during the Whitsun holidays in Spain and am absolutely thrilled. In short a top device!

Product details

The NASA CRUISER LOG Marine Instrument features a large display showing the measured speeds, making it easy to see the current speed through the water, even from a distance.

Speed range is between 1 and 30 knots. The instrument also has a trip and total log. The blue background lighting, easy handling and low power consumption of 8 mA (28 mA with lighting switched on) make the instrument a reliable stand-alone display.

Delivered complete with sensor (7 metre connection cable). replacement paddlewheels are sold separately.

The outer dimensions of the display are 132 x 98 x 29 mm.
