good device with safety function regarding machine failure, cable ties - quality not good The device is actually an asset for monitoring the machine. What temperature is displayed depends somewhat on how the cooling water flow exiting from the manifold into the hose flows over the sensor. It can be a few degrees more or less. But this does not matter, because in case of failure of seawater cooling for whatever reason, the temperature rises rapidly and the alarm goes off. The installation is simple, the electrical connection also (just look at the starting device, where the 12V are available while the machine is running). Attention the sensor is attached with 2 supplied cable ties. One of them was broken after a short time. The sensor has since been fixed with 4 cable ties. Checking every now and then can not hurt ...

Product details

The temperature can be displayed in °C or °F. In order not to miss any dangerous rises in temperature, you can program a maximum temperature. When this temperature is reached, the device will turn on a visual and acoustic alarm.

Temperature range displayed: -35 bis 170°C (or equivalent in °F)

Dimensions: 125 x 62 x 23 mm. The indicator and a 5 meter connection cable come in the box.
