depth gauge accuracy
I installed the encoder, it can be adjusted via the device. Bonded and put in oil, he shows me to 10 cm exactly. A very good device.

nice device, unfortunately not in German -(
again a bargain but I still don't know if it also fits the Simrad GO 5, I have to install it first. Unfortunately, the description in English is also not available in German on the Internet - google translates it but the images are missing. Bargain ????

Loses signal at less than 2 meters
The encoder is connected to a Simrad Go XSE 7. Unfortunately, the depth indication will expire when it is most needed. The encoder was installed according to the enclosed instructions.

Technical question

The data says this unit has a 9-pin connector in the description. However, in the details, it says it has an 8-pin. A little bit confused here. My Simrad unit supports 9-pin connection, do I need the additional converter (cable) or is there actually 9-pin cable connector on the transducer? Thank you.
