Ello I ordered the Ocean Signal E100G battery from SVB and it was delivered fine. I changed the battery and tested it. The test of my E100G for the new battery (Expires NOV 2027) gives only 2 green flashes which is same which the test gave for the old battery ( Expires SEP 2021). I just wonder if there is some problem with the new battery which I ordered from SVB? In the instruction of the Ocean Signal there should be even nine green flashes indicating the battery is good condition but this is not the case of my new battery with only two green flashes. Does anybody have had this kind of problems with the product? Just wonder what I need to do next any guide, thanks? Regards Erkki Ojala

Erkki, see the Ocean Signal E100G webpage and scroll down to "Service Bulletin" link. https://oceansignal.com/products/e100e100g/ 5.8. For any self-test failures Ocean Signal will provide the appropriate replacement, either rescueME EPIRB1 (manual release) or SafeSea EPIRB1 Pro (with Automatic Release Housing). I have the same one and will check when I get to boat later this month.
