Wir hängen ein solches Ölsaugtuch immer senkrecht in die Bilge. Wenn dann mal ein Tropfen Öl oder Diesel in der Bilge landet, wird er von dem Tuch direkt "abgesammelt" und hält so die Bilge schön sauber. Das funktioniert sogar, wenn mal Wasser in die Bilge kommt, da das Tuch kein Wasser aufnimmt, sondern das Wasser schön suber hält.

Oil binding pad
Reusable bandage, long lasting, reusable after wringing out the oil, only stores oil. Since old engines tend to drip, the cushion is permanently under the oil pan. Price for the product seems too high.
