Worth the price! Expensive, but works brilliantly! Previously used on a boat with about 5.2 liters and on a car with 6.5 liters. Very quick suction with relatively few pump strokes, assuming the oil is warm. Very satisfied!

Product details

Universal, easy-to-use suction pump for oil, water and similar liquids. Move the handle up and down and in a few strokes a vacuum is created that sucks the liquid into the collection container. An integrated overflow valve ensures that the pump switches off automatically and not too much liquid is pumped out. Featuring a transparent design, the fill level inside the collection container can be viewed at any time. With retractable foot bar at the bottom of the pump for stability during pumping. Hoses can be stored in the holder, which is attached to the side of the collection container. Includes cap and three tubes. Volume: 10.5 litres. Dimensions: (WxH): 220 x 590 mm. Weight: 3.35 kg.

Don't be afraid to change the oil! You could also do it with this pump in a suit, the process is so clean and uncomplicated.

Only pumps out about 2.2L

My engine holds 2.7L of oil - so it could have been the perfect size.
Unfortunately, there is no information (from the manufacturer) about the maximum suction quantity.
A nice employee at SVB recommended that I try it with water first - good tip, because only about 2.2L is sucked out.
Then the float is pushed and seals, which is also a good thing in principle.
So for the next one, here is the net filling quantity 2.2L )

Practical

Practical, solid vacuum pump, used for suctioning engine oil. Even works with cold oil (plus 5 degrees). The filling level can be easily controlled thanks to the semi-transparent plastic.
However, sometimes a valve in the pump seems to stick, so that no vacuum is drawn when re-pumping. But it can apparently be remedied by pressing a vent valve on the top several times. Hoses are not very flexible, but they have to be because of vacuum resistance.
In any case, a practical, purely mechanical pump that can be used to work cleanly anywhere. Recommended!
