The RS-485 to N2K (NMEA2000) Smart Gateway enables data status monitoring of ePropulsion's EVO drive systems. Data includes: transmission status, voltage at the motor terminals, motor speed, battery temperature, state of charge (SOC) and speed over ground (SOG). This data is sent to external devices via the NMEA-2000 network.
The new Smart Gateway enables owners of ePropulsion Spirit, Navy and Pod engines to communicate effortlessly with external multifunction displays (MFDs) via the NMEA 2000 protocol. The first fully compatible displays include the Nextfour Q Experience and Raymarine devices, ensuring full integration with the entire ePropulsion engine range.
The gateway is characterised by its user-friendly operation and simple installation. With compact dimensions of just 8.9 x 5 cm and a weight of 140 grams, it is mounted between the throttle lever and the engine. An additional connection enables connection to a display. After integration with the Q Experience or Raymarine Axiom, important information such as state of charge (SOC) and engine power of the ePropulsion system are clearly displayed. This provides users with an excellent overview of the operating status of their system.
