ATTENTION: The use of handheld radios in inshore waters is restricted. Please observe the respective regulations for inshore radio communication.
Exceptionally compact and robust hand radio in true ICOM quality. It floats on the water's surface and blinks - allowing you to retrieve it in dark conditions. Building on the tried-and-tested quality of the IC-M25, the IC-M25 EVO has a more modern housing design and a USB-C charging port.
With a weight of just 228 g and a thickness of 3.1 cm, it is lighter and thinner than comparable devices. The large LC display shows the channel number and symbols clearly. The curved shape buttons are well laid out and provide simple and straightforward operation. Included in delivery: USB charger, lithium-ion battery, antenna, belt clip, wrist strap. Colour: black

Flat, light and powerful
The IC-M25EURO is extremely lightweight, weighing only 220g*. Its 30.5mm slim body is extremely comfortable to handle. * According to Icom in July 2015
Large LCD display, simple and straightforward operation
The LCD display of the IC-M25EURO is around 30% larger than that of the predecessor model IC-M23 and displays the channel number and status symbols clearly. The buttons on the front are optimally arranged and can be operated easily and directly.
USB charging option (USB-C connection)
The IC-M25EURO has a USB-C port for charging. This makes it possible to charge the built-in battery with standard smartphone chargers, cigarette lighter cables or other power sources*.
* The charging voltage source must be able to supply 5 V at max. 1 A to charge the IC-M25EURO. Charging function not guaranteed for products from other manufacturers.
„Float'n Flash“
The IC-M25EURO is floatable. A red LED and the display light flash so that you can easily make it out on the surface of the water even in the dark.


11 hours of operation
The built-in lithium-ion battery has sufficient capacity for around 11 hours of radio operation*.

Optional speaker microphone HM-213
When using the optional HM-213 waterproof speaker microphone, the radio can be worn comfortably on a belt and used professionally. The device also floats even when the optional HM-213 microphone is attached.

The IC-M25EURO provides a powerful 550mW (12 Ohm load) audio output and received voice can be heard loud and clear.

Probably okay, but not suitable as a handset replacement
I wanted to hear the messages coming over the radio in the cockpit and not always have to go down to the saloon (chart table). But the range of the handset is quite limited. I should have known that you only hear the transmitter when you see it.
